Mrs.Rita kalia begged outstanding teacher's award

It is a matter of pride for the DAV family,Phillaur that Mrs. Rita Kalia, vice Principal of DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur has been awarded with the outstanding teacher's award by CIEE (Centre for Innovation & Excellence in Education),for her untiring efforts done in the field of education. Principal,Mr. Yogesh Gambhir felicitate her on her grand success & said that  the school feel proud to have such an efficient teacher, who has brought laurel to the institutions.All the staff members also congratulated her.Mrs. Rita Kalia, who has been associated with DAV Phillaur for last 26 years feels that the experience that she acquired while working in the institution is the primary reason for getting this award.

‘JUST DANCE’ competition

Phillaur (8/9/11) ‘JUST DANCE’ competition has been commenced in DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur. On the first day students of nursery and first standard displayed their talent . Mrs Raksha Oberoi  and  Mrs Aruna Sharma from Dayanand Model Public School were the judges of the event.

                                                Khushdeep,Arshpreet Kaur and Sahib Singh Bansal of nursery class bagged first position. Divya Ahuja, Namit Sharma and Arpita Jha stood second.Smriti stood third. Amanveer Singh and Nishchay Khanna got consolation prize.

                                                Arpita Bawa, Disha and Preeti Thappar from first standard stood first. Second position was bagged by Ritika and Samarpreet. Saksham and Bhavika stood third. Bhumika and Tanish got consolation prize.

                                                Principal Mr Yogesh Gambhir appreciated the performances done by all the students and expressed his gratitude towards parents for their kind co-operation to make the event successful
