Celebration of Basant Panchmi
On 27 January 2012 DRV DAV Centenary Public School Phillaur celebrated Basant Panchami. The kids dressed themselves in beautiful yellow clothes and cast magic spell on everybody, out of them following students have been selected as Mr Basant and Miss Basant.

All the above students have been awarded with Memento. Moreover, students also participated in flower making and Basant scene making competition. Everybody basked the kite flying. Besides Principal greeted everybody and exchanged warm wishes.
Republic Day
On 25 January 2012 DRV DAV Centenary Public School Phillaur celebrated Republic day. On this day students participated in group dance, group songs, recited poetry and famous slogans.
The vice principal,Mrs. Rita Kalia hosted the National Flag. Besides she greeted everybody and exchanged warm wishes.
Chinese New Year
On 23 January 2012 DRV DAV Centenary Public School Phillaur celebrated Chinese New Year. Students participated in so many craft activities like Paper monster, Paper dragon, New year greetings etc. The party was held in the school in which students enjoyed Chinese food like noodles , choopsy etc. They relished the party and exchanged greeting with their friends of China ..

Fusion
FUSION OF WORLD CULTURE
DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur, organized an International Multicultural Extravaganza & International Exchange Program under Punjab Cultural Promotion Council to promote universal brotherhood and international friendship. Ensembles from USA & Poland visited the school with S. Davinder Singh Chhina, Director Punjab Cultural Promotion Council, Artists performed songs and dances of their countries. They kept all spell-bound by their excellent performance. Students of the host school also presented cultural programs to exhibit a glimpse of the rich culture of Punjab. Mr. Yashpal Vedhara lighted the sacred lamp to start the function. Lohri was celebrated with the foreign artists by burning the bonefire. Yogesh Gambhir, Principal of the school conveyed his cordial gratitude for this cultural exchange and presented mementoes to the guests and ensembles. Mr. Ashwani Vedhara, Mr. Amit Vedhara and Karan Sharma, Principal of DAV College were present to grace the occasion.
