Republic Day Celebrated

               REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATED

 Students of DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur celebrated Republic Day with great fervour. School Principal, Yogesh Gambhir hoisted the national flag and greeted the students and teachers.   Students in tri-coloured dresses performed dance and fascinated all.  Some students sang patriotic songs, recited poems and delivered speeches related to the occasion.                                

Rally on Save Water

WATER   CONSERVATION   AWARENESS   CAMPAIGN     

‘Conserve Water’campaign  in the form of  a Human Chain was organized  by DRV DAV CENT. PUBLIC SCHOOL,PHILLAUR on  19^th Jan.2013 under the project ‘BOOND  2013’  started by  A.P.P. Upsabha-Delhi and Rashtriya  Yuva Samaj- New Delhi.This is a dream project of Poonam Suri,President of  DAV CMC. Students and teachers ‘formed a chain to make the people aware about the importance of water. Hundreds of students shouting slogans and carrying placards and banners   marched towards  the city.  The posters and banners which read ’Don’t Waste Water’  ‘Water   is Elixir’ ,’No Life Without Water’ etc. showed the importance of water in life. The   main purpose of this chain was to strengthen young minds for sustainable  future and spread the message among the people that  water is precious jewel  so we all must promise to save it. This chain  was started by the Chief Guest Mr. G.S .Gill, Environmental Engineer of  Punjab Pollution Control  Board. Yogesh  Gambhir, Principal of the  school  encouraged the students to save water in all possible ways  and have a pledge not to waste even a single drop of water,

X-MAS CELEBRATED

Students of DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur celebrated Christmas on 24th December,2012 with zeal and enthusiasm.  Students presented a cultural programmes like Skits, Songs, Christmas Carols .  Students dressed as Santa Claus and Fairies.  Santa Claus distributed gifts and sweets among the students.  Yogesh Gambhir Principal of the School congratulated the students on this occasion and advised the children to spread happiness, peace and brotherhood in the world.
