CLOSING CUM PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY

DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur organized the Closing-cum-Prize Distribution Ceremony of Sports Mania Week on 22nd  November, 2011. Function started with the lighting of sacred lamp. Mr. Charanjit Singh Saini, Retd. Distt. Sports Officer, Punjab Sports Deptt., Chandigarh, was the chief guest of the occasion. Mr. Rakesh Saini, Former Ranji Trophy Player graced the function. Students presented cultural programs like happy ending song, Aerobic-Dance and Gidda and enthralled all. Various fun games of different countries were played with zeal and enthusiasm. Results of Sports Mania Week are given below:

Basket Ball - Unity House -First
Cricket - Honesty House -First
Volley Ball - Unity House -First
Overall trophy was won by Unity House. Winners of Sports Mania Week were given away trophies. Yogesh Gambhir, Principal of the school extended his hearty welcome to the guests and felicitated the students for their best performance and encouraged them to participate in sports in future also.
