seminar on Junk Food & Heart Diseases was conducted in DRV DAV Public School , Phillaur to make the
students aware about the harmful effects
of Junk food. Ms. Shweta Gopika Chopra
was the event manager from BBC
Heart Care
Pruthi Hospital ,
Jalandhar. She informed the students
through projector how oily, spicy and
saturated junk foods are harmful for our heart.
If we want to keep ourselves healthy, more and more green vegetables,
fruits, fibres should be involved in our daily diet. Smoking and use of alcohol is also very
dangerous for the heart. Daily exercise,
Yoga can play wonders in our life. Yogesh
Gambhir, Principal of the school welcomed the guest and thanked her for
providing such a fruitful session to the students and teachers.
