TEEJ CELEBRATED

DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur celebrated Teej Festival enthusiastically.  Girls from 6^th to 10^th std. participated in it.  Colourfully dressed students presented cultural programmes like Gidda, Bhangra, Folk Songs, Folk Dances etc.  Stalls of eatables were installed for refreshment of the children.  Yogesh Gambhir, Principal of the school encouraged the students and said that such celebrations keep us in touch with our cultural traditions.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur held its investiture ceremony  for the new academic session 2012-13.  The function began with  prayer and a motivated song.  Jagriti Jasra,  Devan Kunj and Chandanpreet Kaur were selected as Head Boy,  Head Girl & Deputy Head Girl respectively.  Other House Captains, Sports Captains and Cultural Captains were also selected.  All the office bearers  were adorned with badges and sashes.  Yogesh Gambhir, Principal of the School advised the students to understand their responsibilities and shoulder them efficiently.  He congratulated the Head Boy and other House Captains of all the four houses, Dignity, Honesty, Prosperity & Unity for their selection.
