Health Check-Up of Tiny Tots

Health Check-Up of Tiny Tots in DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur.
“Good health begins with prevention and that all starts with the individual.”
Health is wealth! Quoted by a learned man, the statement stands true in all respects. Regular health check-ups do not just inform about exposure to potential diseases but also indicate good habits that one must continue with. Taking into account the importance of health and inculcating the habit of regular health check- ups among the students at tender age , Health check-up for Primary and pre-Primary students was organised by the school on 8th November, 2019.The camp was initiated with dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and measures to prevent them. Apart from it, eye check up was also done. Students were made aware about the less usage of mobile phones as the harmful rays affect eyes. Students got an opportunity to interact with the doctors.Dr. Yogesh Gambhir, principal of the school extended his gratitude to the doctors and opined that early checkups are necessary, which help prevent cavities, tooth decay and lead to healthy life.
